Our history.

Doug Sahm, a field superintendent for a large ILI and cleaning services contractor, was constantly in need of field-ready equipment. Temporary Pipeline Equipment (TPE) began with a conversation over lunch with Brad Sando in 2014. “If we build the equipment that is needed, it will be ready when the operators call. Let’s build a high-quality version of every size launcher and receiver so that anyone who needs to run pigs can call us for equipment and separators and filters that are field ready and easy to use.

They designed the equipment and secured the financing to build. TPE continued to add inventory, expand geographically, and offer more creative equipment solutions.  From coast to coast, the company is the pipeline industry’s on-demand solution.

The introduction of TPE’s Zero Emission Vacuum and Compressor, ZEVAC® revolutionized how operators mitigated methane gas. Since then, the versatility and reliability of ZEVAC® has been proven and expanded the company’s customer base exponentially. As it became increasingly apparent that ZEVAC is the trusted name that customers have come to know, TPE officially became known as ZEVAC in 2022, a product and technology company recognized as the leader in methane mitigation equipment and applications.
